Privacy Policy

Pristone Audio ("we", "us") runs pristoneaudio.com, sells audio plugins, and offers mixing and mastering services. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: info@pristoneaudio.com.

What we collect

  • Orders. When you buy, our store provider (Squarespace) and its payment processors collect your name, email, billing details and order. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Forms. When you request a free preview or write to plugin support, we receive what you send: your name, email, message, and any audio files you upload. We use them only to answer you and deliver the service.
  • Plugin activation. When you activate a plugin, it sends the email and order number from your receipt to our activation server to confirm the purchase. Your license is then saved on your computer.
  • Free trials. When you start a free trial, the plugin sends the email you enter, the plugin name and version, your operating system and the trial start date. We use these to send a few tips and a reminder before the trial ends. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • Update checks. Once a day, our plugins ask our server whether a newer version exists. This sends only the plugin name and version, nothing personal.
  • Phone Test. Audio streamed to your phone stays on your own network. It never reaches us.
  • Newsletter. If you tick the box at checkout, we may email you news and updates. Unsubscribe anytime.
  • Cookies and analytics. Our site uses cookies from Squarespace (site function and visit statistics) and the Meta Pixel (to measure our ads). You can block cookies in your browser.

We don't sell your information, and we share it only with the services that run the business: Squarespace (website, store, email), Cloudflare (activation, trials and downloads), our email delivery provider, Meta (ad measurement), and the payment processors.

Apps and integrations: Pristone Autopilot

Pristone Autopilot is our own app, used only by Pristone Audio to publish Pristone Audio's promotional videos to our own YouTube channel and TikTok account.

  • YouTube: Pristone Autopilot uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
  • What it accesses: basic channel or account information, our uploads, and statistics for our own posts, such as views and likes. It doesn't access or collect data about other users or viewers.
  • How it stores and shares: the sign-in tokens are stored only on our own computer, never on a server, and the data isn't sold or shared.
  • How long we keep it: tokens are kept until access is revoked. Post statistics are kept only as long as we need them to decide which videos to post.
  • Revoking access: at any time, through Google's permissions page, or in TikTok under Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Manage app permissions.

How long we keep information

  • Orders: as long as tax and accounting rules require.
  • Trial records: until you ask us to delete them.
  • Support messages and uploaded audio: as long as we need them to help you.

Your choices

Email info@pristoneaudio.com to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop emails. Our services aren't directed at children under 13.
